The kids had a great time on the eleventh of November. This is the day some people in The Netherlands celebrate St. Maarten. Children go from door to door. At every door they sing a song and they will be rewarded for their efforts with sweets.
It is a mix between trick or treating and carolling. Here you can see the huge amount of sweets they collected. Of course in our present day this is a nice way of getting connected to your community.
